Gregory Lestrade – Cardiff Police Transfer. - OPEN
With Sherlock gone from London, Scotland Yard was more boring than a knitting convention. So when Mycroft, his older brother, inquired of him to be stationed where Sherlock was working to manage him and find out what he was doing, Greg jumped at the chance. Now working at the Cardiff Police Department, he finds things stranger here than back in London. The Chief of Police, Sam Tyler, seems nice enough, but the secrets involving PC Andy and a Miss Gwen Cooper are getting too deep for Greg’s liking. And with Sherlock being his usual sneaky self, he wonders what exactly “Torchwood” means and why it’s so powerful.
Rory Williams-Pond – The Last Centurion. - OPEN
After returning home with Amy, with life forever changed by their alien friend, Rory agrees completely when they decide to hire help to find the Doctor once more. He would follow Amy to the ends of the Earth, especially for such a precious reason. They venture off to Cardiff of all places together to hopefully find her Raggedy man. After all, although Rory would never admit it, he loved the Doctor just as much as she did; for he brought them together in more ways than one.
Gwen Cooper – Torchwood Operative. Resident Police Liaison. - OPEN
Gwen knew that the Hub would have its troubles getting back on its feet, and with the help of Sherlock and both John’s she’s more ready than ever to keep Torchwood going with a cheery smile. The Police Force isn’t doing too shabbily either, with its new Head of Police Sam Tyler and a few good men from London, everything in the grey Cardiff sky seems to be going great; her job, her friendships, and of course, her marriage to her darling Rhys. Of course, in all of her time in Torchwood she knows that sunny days like these don’t last forever, which is why her gun never leaves her pocket.
Amelia Pond – The Girl Who Waited. - OPEN
Losing her Doctor, and with it her hope, Amelia Pond refuses to wait yet again. She takes it upon herself to employ Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective, who claims the ability to solve any case. He takes it on with an enthusiastic approach to an obviously difficult challenge. When he gives her confirmation of the Doctor in Cardiff, she and Rory quickly pack up to find him, but are greeted instead with a man who looks like their Doctor, but refuses to acknowledge that he knows them. Looks like Amy Pond will be waiting yet again, this time for him to return to his normal self.
